What does power transfer mean? What do these consoles actually do?

They increase the rate that power levels charge. So if you say switch from one preset to another (say drop weapons to add to aux), it'll speed up how quickly it finishes.

It's also useful to recharge your weapons after firing multiple energy weapons, or to charge up your power levels as you come out of full impulse.

They affect how quickly your power transfers between systems. For example if you switch from full weapons power to full shields the higher your power transfer the fastest the power will switch to the new system. It also affects how quickly your power in a system will recharge for example, from a weapons drain.

If I'm not mistaken a green mkx one adds +2,2 recharge rate, but I wonder how much % that approc. is? Anyone know?

Worthy to know that they are getting a nerf in the next patch. the green Mk X ones that now give +3 are down to +1.3.
