Has anyone here played half life? If you have, you know the game has many puzzles that you need to solve. Personally, I wish there were more situations in STO that required your brain. For example, if there was a level where you go aboard a fed ship and everyone is dead (Kind of like "The Omega Glory) and you had to find out how they died and how to cure yourselves. So, you might have to run around the ship, listen to medical logs, examine dead bodies and find something to cure it. These missions would just feel more star trek and be pretty immersive.

Even a pipe-mania mini game would make the run around scanning 5 plants more interesting!
I dont suppose anyone remembers The Running Man from the mid 90's on the Amiga. That had a great little mini game... - somehting to do with the uplink code...

This game was dumbed down for the casual crowd.
