Lots of Ideas

Some ideas i think can be added and would boost this game alot. if i find more time ill add more.

Directional Development

Endgame:
Ofcourse at some point the level cap should be raised to atleast lv 60. this includes adding t6 ships (real battleships not just cruisers). lv 50-60 should play completly different. ofcourse slower level progress, maybe task driven so you need to complete all tasks for that level to advance and you need to do a levelup missions to transfer level. also t6 ships should not be +10% overalstrenght, they should be much more powerful but when damaged they need alot more repair time, so they cant be used limitless (longer repair times would also feel more star trek like and in pvp it would be a good feature to hunt down the big ships, as small can respawn with no downtime).

Space Combat:
Should feel more Star Trek like(i know its designed as pure-action fastpace gameplay), still it could atleast be tweaked. so should the shields when close to zero collaps and the whole shield should collaps when under 25% total. when collapsed the shield should stay down for a bit 10-20seconds. so you actually have to take care of your shields not collapsing and can turn your ship according to shield status. also we need a subsystem damage system and longer hullrepair times. every damage should have a chance to damage subsystems and take your engines, a weaponslot, shieldgenerators and stuff offline or harm them by %. slower repair times are needed to make damage feel like damage and a starship like a starship not a "punchingbag with healthbar".

Item Drop:
Especially in Endgame, there should not drop predesigned items. the items need to be autogenerated, with no restriction what bonus and what amount they give so that you can always hunt for that 0.01% chance to get a items thats simply wow.


Main Features

Ship Interior:
we all know, you know. all major rooms and some random interior corridors and stuff. if there cant be made a connection between interior and spacezone atleast add an empty zone to the windows and screen. like there is on missions with hullbreaches or windows. ofcourse we need a masteruniform slot to design what all the redshirts wear. Decoration Items, Captains Room and stuff would also be cool.

Holodeck:
Holodeck that lets you visit every planet in the game and lets you spawn mobs and stuff, custom mission(mission generator would greatly help against a lack of contend) for training maybe with some reward would be nice. also duells between captains and players visiting the ship could be held on holodeck.

Missions in the Past(Timetravel and Holodeck):
Thou a really long therm goal and maybe too much work to be worth it, i would really like to see some timetravel missions to past days someday. The could range from early star trek times over world war2 till wild west or ancient times.

Fleet Escords:
i read something about a Fleet Escord System comming soon, but no info about it. so i hope its what i think it should be. A System to have NPC ships under your command to fill up team missions, just like on the ground with bridge officers. Also lot less work to add than contend for players generated, as adjusting ships and outfitting is alot to play around with especially when having diffrent ships.

Pets:
social pets like many games have, that follow you around but only have social use or buff. and combat pets you can use in combat, exclusive for the captain, either permanent or spawnable but permanent pets are better.

Moral and ShipMissions(Death Penalty included):
personally i think it is a must have. there should be a relation gauge(loyality) and a morale gauge. when ship interior is added you should have social action avaliable(diplomatics system) to interact with the crew(redshirts). every positiv action increases crew moral a bit.(from talking to giving presents or small delivery missions and stuff, also diplomatic missions to solve an argument or calm someone down) moral drops when you get defeated. the less moral the crew has the more you get a penalty on overall strenght, could cap at 20%(slowly regenerating if you dont want to do the ship interior, but takes time. but at the next day your death penalty is gone). so you can regain your deathpenalty by spending some time with the crew, also includes the ship interior into the game as usefull feature.
Bridge Officers should have a Loyality rating which can be increased by doing missions for them abroad and grands them some bonus skills or attributes. (missions could even include palying a game of 3D Chess in the bar. alone for this feature i would have bought the game ;) )

Diplomatic System:
Seperate skillsystem, for diplomatic skills. maybe collectibles. it should be possible to have a diplomatic argument with nearly any npc you can talk to(ship interior, risa, space stations and more to come). it should be like a duell where you play your arguments at the right time and the opponent reacts and so on. diplomatic should ofcourse be a sidesystem thats not requiered to do(a bit like a cardgame with arguments).


Missions

Some Shuttle Missions:
Like explore a nebula with an modiefied shuttle, or explore interior of an asteroid. Aswell as fly to a planet and disable a beam manipulator.

Strange Phenomena:
More Missions like Ghost Ship, where you find something new.

Hazard Scan:
Ground Missions with Animals(Big Agressive Ones), or hazard areas(erruptions, poision gas(so you navigate via tricorder scan)) so you get challanged while scanning stuff.

Diplomatic Missions:
see diplomatic system

Culltural Missions:
better than scan something, talk somthing. gather informations or help with tasks to make friendship with new cultures or settlements(First Contact).

Ship Interior:
with ship interior we should see boarding and assimilating missions on your ship. even pvp on ships should be possible, like base assaults.


Extended Features

Uniforms:
Option to hide Kits and Armor. Bridge Officer should get the same Costume Slots as the Captain for Of Duty and unarmored. they switch according to what the captain wears. adds alot gametime players can spend here and will be needed atleast when ship interiors arrive. Ofcourse more hairstyles and clothes always rock.

Shuttles/Fighters:
Either add an extra slot for the shuttlebay of cruisers, or an items so cruisers can have a shuttle or fightergroup. also fed need a carrier too as fed lacks the petclass mmos need.


Small Features

Extend Martial Arts:
when goind unarmed there should be more skills for. like a hold, different kicks and punches with lots of effects, stances and stuff, there could even be tournaments someday. matrial arts with 3 buttons and no combos effects sucks. same for swordfight, add more swords and combat moves. we cant have the same system for firing a gun and fighting unarmed...


Corrections

Corridors and Ceiling Heigh:
who builds 6m high corridors and 20m high rooms on warships? if they get alteast a bit tweaked it would add some realism as its based on ships we all know. maybe its not possible because smaller corridors might block the view.

    I like some of these ideas, though I doubt many would make it in game. More outfits options is always great as with new hair styles and character customizations. I also like the idea of shuttles and holo deck missions. however, i don't think custom mission generation would work, because players will no longer be playing in regular space, but it would be great for end game.

    I believe they should add another ship design at each tier. like for the escort they have the sabre class, why not add another ship design that would fit the tier, like the old star trek ship that had one nacelle and only a saucer section.
