My sub runs out Tues, and I'm not buying another, at least not for a while.
So what happens to stuff I have listed on the Exchange? Anyone know for CERTAIN?
Don't think ANYONE knows for certain - or if they do, they sure aren't talking - I wonder why?
If they're using the same as the Champions notification system, then yes, stuff stays on the exchange and can sell. I got notifications of stuff sold on my old CO account here in the STO mail system - and I haven't played CO in more than a few months. Canceled my sub over there, too.

Okay, that's cool then...
I'll just leave the stuff on the Exchange (instead of pulling it and selling it to a vender at 50% off), and will hopefully have a fatter bank account when/if I return in a couple months.
Well i left some stuff on the exchange for champions online and i still get emails everynow and then saying they have sold and i dont have an active sub for it so im guessing its the same for here.
Right now you stuff will stay on the exchange until sold. According to some rumors this may be changeing and they will probably institute an expiration period for items posted for sale on the exchange.
When and if this will happen is up in the air. Just in case I would make sure I had room in my inventory for the items posted on the exchange. Just in case.

What I would like to see them do is put an expiration date on all items listed on the Exchange, and I think 14 days would be more than generous; I think the maximum listing time in LoTRO is 2 days. Once the expiration date arrives, delist the item and mail it to the listing character. If there are DB issues with the volume of mail in the system, they could also delete old mails after X days.

If someone buys an item from someone who quit the game, it creates a breach in the space-time continuum... a wormhole is created and creatures from a parallel universe invade ours.

Apparently not...
My sub ran out a few days ago, and I see I just sold something in the Exchange today (according to my inbox here).
Unless of course the creatures from a parallel universe haven't reached me yet. Where does the rupture start? How long do I have?
