I still have no idea what a Polaron, Antiproton or Transphasic weapon type does that's any different than the dps is lists...At least with some of the other items like Disrupters, Phasers, Tetryon, Plasma Arrays they list what the items do like, disable, debuff, dot, bonus shield damage...
Could someone just spend a day writing like one line of text in each item and skills description that clarifies what it is it does and why I would want to use it?
And while we're at it, why do Green, Blue and Purple items that are mark X sometimes have the same descriptions and same stats, but different prices? If there is a hidden stat could we make that unhidden?

In most MMOs the players do most of the documentation. I don't expect anything different here.
Thanks...but I picked up a two handed sword in WoW last night and it told me it's top end damage, low end damage, average dps, and what special abilities it had such as crit, att power, stat modifiers...not sure why they can't do that here...?
OP - I suggest that you find an item that you are curious about, right+click on it, mouse down to INFO and then left+click on INFO. Your investigation will be rewarded with a pop-up window FULL of information on the item.

One of the best resources I've found so far is http://stowiki.org/wiki/Main_Page
However there are also http://startrekonline.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Trek_Online_Wiki
and http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Star_Trek_Online and http://sto-intel.org/wiki/Main_Page
And as a bonus resource there's http://sto-builder.binarybit.ch/
You have to remember that WoW is over 4 years old, the devs have had the opportunity to address a lot of the "polish" type features.
I was just trying to help you find info till the devs get to this.
Right clicking on my Antiproton Beam Array does nothing...? What are you talking about?
