Go on! Any bit TNG fan would want this Uniform... sadly us Brits are unable to get it because it wasn't available in any preorder package.

Pretty please?

Which pre-order did you need for this one? Could have sworn I got most of the pre-order uniforms; but only the movie TNG uniforms are showing up.

Yeah those boxes were America-only, not available in the UK.

I'd give up my ugly TOS-era uniform for it!

    Collectors Edition=US
    Gold Edition=EU

Main difference? CE comes with a badge.

Really? Maybe I'm mistaken then... certainly got the pin in my box. I'll have to double check when I get home.

Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. ;)

Sorry, but no. Don't make them available so easy yet, since I just bought my CE about 2 weeks ago. Also, if the uniforms are in the Gold Edition that is still available in your region, go out and get that for now if you must have it now.

Let us CE owners hold on to this exlusive for just a little while longer. :p

    Indeed.
Wanted the CE for the badge but alas... this lil gal lives in EU and could only get the Gold Edition.
(cba about ordering via other places than her favorite store)

And the Gold Edition description does come with a flaw. I does not say it come with the TNG costume but it does.

Question, does it just come as a key that I can register to my account? Or is it installing along with the other data on the DVD's?
I'm actually considering buying it JUST for the uniform if I can add it to my Steam copy! :P

TBH, I don't think any of the pre-order perks, or box exclusives should ever be made available to the public ingame, for the simple fact that people paid extra for the Collector's Edtion/Gold Edition and the Deluxe Digital Edition for those exclusives.

Furthermore, people who chose to pre-order were rewarded with additional perks. Giving those perks to the general public would be a slap in the face to everyone who had faith in the game before it came out. If people chose not to pre-order, or to pay extra, they shouldn't be rewarded with the exclusives becoming available in the C-Store

The TNG/DS9 uniforms where apart of the CE/Gold Edition codes. Meaning when a player entered game code into account the uniforms where addedt.
And also no to adding TNG/DS9 uniforms to C-Store, because their apart of the CE that I bought back in Feb.
Different versions of the uniforms, Example season 1-2, or alt times. Then yes to whose versions, an to me, yes that would be a slap in face if TNG/DS9 ( CE/Gold Edition ) or any other perks from other versions where added to C-Store.

I think the season 1-2 tng uniform should be available in the c-store not the season 3+ (or microskirts mwah ha ha ha ha).

I'll sign this "petition" because Feds need even MORE uniform choices. The half dozen new options in addition to the dozen options on Holodeck are simply not enough. Feds should have 100 choices before Klingons and Klingon females especially get more than a couple selections.

    /end sarcasm

Sorry but you need to be happy with what you have and are being given already. Many people are far less fortunate than you.

Heh well I wouldn't hold your breathe that this won't happen, since they decide to give away the TOS uniform from the Digital Deluxe Edition for free in this months Beckett Massive Online Gamer Magazine I don't think they would hold back if they find it to be a good marketing ploy.

I personally think all is fair even though I used to think otherwise but since I bought the DDE and lost the uniform as an exclusive perk to the version I bought then I don't see why anything is off limits as far as being placed in the c-store for purchase.

These TNG uniforms I'd like to see in the C-Store.
    TNG Captain's Varaint
    TNG Movie Dress Uniforms

To lavosslayer, I forgot about that. Then maybe over time( in a month ), the TNG/DS9 uniforms can be added to C-Store or from a PC Magazine. Then I'll be fine with that, because the more players they ( Cryptic ) can get the better for them & the community too.

DO NOT ADD THE NORMAL TNG UNIFORMS VIA THE C STORE! I payed for my collectors mainly for my DS9 uniforms and conny and TNG Uniforms. Add the formal ones and stuff but please do NOT add the TNG Unforms for the C Store.

(Only quoting Anders as he makes a point, this post is in no way aimed at him)

You know, I can understand this, and I feel your pain, but you know it'll happen. Cryptic won't sit on a load of development/art work and not release it in C Store when they can make back some of their money in doing so.

I know it hurts, frustrates and means you're not special as you're not exlusive. I know it's money you could have spent elsewhere, but then again you (and I mean you in general, not you in particular to anyone) could have waited to see if they did this. From the flaming that Cryptic get here, I'm sure people could have anticipated this from past performance. (I have no prior knowledge of Cryptic, so have nothing to compare it to)

It makes good business sense to me to release your code in as many profitable ways as poosible, sure, some people will be annoyed that they lost bragging rights on thier exlusive items, but then you do still get to say you had it/them first.....

(Once again, this is a general post aimed at no one in particular. Ther terms 'you' and 'you're' are not aimed or there to troll.... Do we really need to have disclaimers with every post?)

If Cryptic/Atari got say PC Gamer the code(s) for TNG/DS9 uniform(s), then it's out of our (players) hands. Yes I'll be mad for some time, but after months (3-6) then I wont care.

Sadly clb... I think your right. I Hope it won't happen but It most likely will. I mean the TOS Uniforms from the Digital edition (I bought that too) are practicly being handed out from a magazene! 5 vs 60 bucks... hmmm

I am in the UK. I ordered the Gamestop Collectors Edition box all the way from the US (cost me about £80 inc. postage and tax) specifically so that I could have the Constitution class and the TNG uniform.

So technically it was available to us UK players, just not available from within the UK or at an entirely reasonable cost (I was willing to pay more just because I really wanted those items, and none of the UK pre order perks appealed to me in the slightest).

Now, I would agree to this idea if you limit it to the Season 1 and 2 TNG uniforms, include the Dress Uniforms from All seasons of TNG/DS9/Voyager, AND included the Alternate Timeline uniform from AGT/The Visitor/Endgame from TNG/DS9/VGR respectively.

Thing is though, is it such a bad thing? Think about it... you got it extra with other content that you can only get in your collector's edition, but we have to pay EXTRA to get these little things that you got included with your package!

How hard would it be to add the Yesterday's Enterprise Uniforms? That would satisfy the desire for a TNG style uniform AND offer something new for people who already have one. All it takes is an added belt texture and black cuffs on the sleeves.
