What abilities remove or counter holds, knockback's, etc? (via ground combat)

    Seriously... there's nothing you can do.

    It's what TVTropes calls a "Game Breaker"


    Every PvP I've been in with a Klingon TRIBBLE who insta-holds and insta-exposes us has been a pointless disaster with the Klingons winning easily and disgustingly. No fun for anyone but the jackass who uses it.

    The one PvP I was in where NO Klingons used this was actually an amazing and fun experience, where they won by only 4 or 8 points.

    This is all changing soon.

    Consumables are going to break holds, stuns, exposes.

    and you think the good Star Fleet players do not use the same methods. Oh and the "us and them" mentality...awesome...oh and the "jackass" hahahaah... if it wasn't meant to be used, then the Dev's should take it out, just because u don't like it, doesn't mean the rest of "us, good players" have to follow ur lead. Unless, you plan on paying our subscription, then I will follow ur lead, but since ur not, child, I really do not care. :p hahahahahah



    I can't wait for the changes, all these stuns/expose, beams/exploit getting boring.

    I think there are Traits that give buffs to Hold and KB and such (Stubborn and Sure Footed, I think).

    Also, when I see someone get a Hold in my team, I usuall put +50% damage resistance buff on them from the Medic Kit, then the +25%, It usually lasts long enough and gives enough health to allow them to outlive the assault and dodge out of the way.

    You just need someone to look out for you.
    Make a friend with a Sci Officer.

    If you are tactical, motion accelerator is an option for breaking such things.
