Patching Problem

I hope that someone on the Cryptic team can help with this.

I use a satelite dish to access the internet and I only get 5 hours of unlimited download time a day, between 1am and 6am central time. The 2 gig patch, for the first season, is too big for me to download in the 5 hour slot that I have. This would be okay if the patch was able to stop and continue again where it stopped. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. please help. I'm also sending a ticket for this. Thank you.

My issue is somewhat different but still has to do with the large patch. Every time I exit STO the patcher starts to run. Well, after a few seconds it crashes every time. Any ideas?

I noticed that if you have accessed Tribble in the past, your patch download is much smaller.. (I think mine was about 400mb)

So, a workaround you can try, is during your unlimited download times, try opening tribble, it WILL pick up where it left off if you cancel it, so you can do it over 2-3 nights. After you have access to tribble, then try allowing the prepatcher to work, it will copy most of the files from the tribble folder (or at least it did for me)

Hope it helps, hope it works for you!
