Do we really need the Dev's wasting time on this feature? It takes 5 to 10 days to max your char and another few to get the "best" loot. There would be a point with a Sidekicking feature if it took a few months to reach max but as it is i would rather wait for a friend to lvl up in that short time then have anymore work from cryptic on this feature. And, yes, I'd like a sidekicking feature. They should add that, despite your not wanting it. I just hope they add it before they get around to asking you to approve what features they should include and omit at the next development meeting.
I demand that the devs add in everything that Rumble DOESN'T want. Guess what Rumble, there will be people praising me, cause *gasp* not everyone wants only what you want. People derive fun in many different ways, your way is not better, nor should get any special treatment or time table. Welcome to life.

Ya if they did ask me we would atlest have a game that would hold in the long run. I care about the game, it seems like they dont
anyways disagree all you like, ofc wasted dev time is a good thing, am sure you feel the game is perfect
I used to play WoW a looong time ago. And my RL friend played it. Problem was he didnt level half as fast as I did. So it was sort of pointless to team up and do anything.
This will allow friends to play together despite their level. Which is the whole point.
Some features they add you may not use or need. Doesnt mean they shouldnt or wont be added. A lot of people think ship interiors are useless and not needed. If Cryptic listened to them I'd never get to see any more added, and thats something Im very much looking forward too.
Anyways the game needs a lot of different things. But sidekicking is a decent feature and Im glad they are adding it. Im sure a good deal of people will make use of it.

Same here. This feature may not have a whole lot of uses now, but it certainly will down the road as more content gets added. I think this was a great feature to include.
5-10 days is not possible to max out if a person has any kind of life away from the computer. Plus its not like this feature is being added. Its being enabled after the bugs have been fixed, was only disabled during beta to fix the problems with it.
I like this so I can play with friends that play even less than I do. I prefer to have a bit more color than your avatar, Rumble.

I am glad they're adding it too. It was one of my favorite features in City of Heroes, and made teaming with people more fun. It also can give life to max level characters if they can reverse side-kick as well, and go help lower level players with missions.
Well at one point, he was a super sonic " Cryptic is Wooonderful" guy. Im not sure when the change happened but it was one extreme and now its the other. Weird........

I dont defend everything that Cryptic does. I know they arent perfect, but they are doing a really good job at the moment. [edit]
Anyone who has been introduced to a new MMO and started an account, to play with the friend who did the introductions, only to be abandoned to go-at-it alone because the friend's busy with their high-level character, would not scoff at sidekicking.

Sidekicking worked well in champions it meant your friends could play missions with you with out any really ill effect against them. Most people don't play this game nonstop and to expect others to gain max rank in 5 days isn't fair on the part time players.
ya you sure dont haha i must have misread all your posts
Seriously what happened too you? You were all roses and sunshine about STO and EVERYTHING about it only weeks ago and now? Its the opposite.
Its like your evil mirror universe twin pulled you through the bathroom mirror and traded places with you. Its just......odd.
I had that happen to me once. It took me 12 hours of trying to find the right reality by traveling though the mirror. It was very confusing. THATS WHY I STOPPED! ...........sorry.....what were we talking about???

Bypassing your defenses are easy as pie.
