Remove me from "Tribble"

i'm not sure where to put this but I would like to be removed from the "Tribble" server. I can no longer play the game, STO issue not mine, an dI'm trying to get everything back to the way it was last week to see if I can find out what is wrong sincwe Cryptic has done nothing for the last 3 days.

    All you should really need to do is on the start up launcher change to the holodeck shard and run from there as that is the live version of the game and not the test server.

    Your character on the test server should have no relation to your live server version. I myself have a copy of my character on tribble but I still haven't got round to going through the patch for it rofl.

    Are you having a problem with actually playing on the Live server, or is it the framerate issue you sent in a ticket about, that you're referring to?

    I want the lancher to be the same as it was last week, no option about which server. There is something wrong and since I'm not getting any support from Cryptic I'm going throught everything step by step to find the problem, and the way that you do that is to go back to the previous settings and go from there.

    You might as well post the issue here as well; I'd hate to see how full Phoxe's boxes are at any given time. But it's obvious he's watching this thread, so you might get an answer faster. Or...maybe just maybe...ya'll might help OTHERS with the same problem.

    There are others having the same problem. They posted in my other thread. This is something on the server side and still needs to be fixed.....


    Also just a FYI, I do not complain about anything until I have tried everything I can think of (Ex: Change setting, update drivers) and the problem is still there. I just posting this to save all the post that suggest doing these things.

    I'm still not able to play.....

    Server side can't cause you to crash, least not normally unless they specifically programmed a remote command to terminate your client, in which case would still be a client side. Though I suppose that's not really what you meant, which is that it's their fault and not yours. Alas that would still be a client error, as the crash is on your end and not theirs.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling the game should remove the Tribble Server from your launcher and the files from your system. In terms of your issue(s) with the game, I'm going to agree with sintri.

    I'm fairly certain that Tribble showing up in your launcher is a factor of your Cryptic account. It should have nothing to do with what's installed on your computer (though the files will download/copy if you pick Tribble from the list)

    That is possible! When I signed up for Tribble access though. I didn't see it in my launcher until I actually installed it.

    As soon as you sign up your account for testing the launcher is patched to allow for tribble

    Yeah, the little button for "Tribble" shouldn't even show up until you've registered.

    Can you do me an even bigger favor though? Open up a Tech Ticket on the website, get a DxDiag, slap that baby in the ticket and send 'er over.

    How bout if we've registered (shows activated under account settings) and it still doesn't show up as an option in my launcher, though CO, CO test and STO are listed? :)

    (I'm presuing me not having it there is linked to the bug that's showing my 12-month subscription as suspended?)

    Tech Ticket is open ... I've already posted DxDiag: http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?p=2385707#post2385707 Starts at this post..... But I can do all that again if you need me to.....

    Dude, just do what he said to do so he can help you faster. I mean, I've NEVER seen a dev actually try helping someone out with a problem on the forums before in ANY game (not saying it doesn't happen, just that it's rare enough I've missed it).

    Just think, if you had taken my advice yesterday and posted the info here your problem would quite possibly already be solved.

    I added the DxDiag to the ticket, Still having the same problems .....

    For anyone that may care, I got an answer .... I think it is a BS answer since I was chosen for Closed Beta and have not had any problems at all before Monday ..... but it was an answer.....

    Just Sitting at my computer ... After 5 1/2 months and $300 I can no longer play STO.
    My graphic card isn't good enough ... It was for 5 1/2 months, but now it doesn't work.

    With a 8400 I'm kinda surprised you managed it before now, those cards are pretty poor if i recall. The 'very low budget' card of the 8xxx series. on the other hand you could probably pick up a 8800 for around $60-$100 USD by now, I've got one in my second computer and it runs sto just fine, though I do have to set the graphics rather lower than I would like. Kinda stupid that you may have to do that though, after it working for up till now. most games don't start going through graphics revamps till at least a year after launch not 2 months.
