What am I missing? Are they different? What is a battle cruiser? What makes it so special only the battle cruiser can do cannons while an assault cruiser can't.

Where the heck IS the battle cruiser?

If you are talking about Assault vs. Star cruiser, different console slots, different BO slots.

Klingons focus more on Cannon weapons, while Starfleet uses more Phaser types... like Bird of Prey's cannot equip forward phasers, to my knowledge.

Nah I just didn't know what a battle cruiser is. I pick up items that can't go on my assault cruiser and I was just trying to figure out what a "Battle Cruiser" is. They should have Klingon names if they're klingon ship classes :(

The battle cruiser is a Klingon T5 ship I believe.

Battlecruisers exist at tiers 3, 4 and 5 currently, and there is a tier 2 version on Tribble at the moment.

They do have Klingon names, the K'Tanco, the K't'inga, the Vor'Cha and the Negh'Var.
