Game now costing me money, still having connection issues

Ok As of March 14, 2010 the game has cost me 65.00 ( my free month is over and still cannot connect when I want to play.

Here are the current problems:

Unable to Authenticate: thought at first it was just my computer, but installed on wifes computer ( which she does not have any games on) and still unable to authenticate. I believe that eliminates my end for the issue

Server not responding: again when I was able to connect on either computer, when it first loads or when I do get to play and say I switch maps ta da I am dissconnected happening on both computers, so thus eliminates an issue with my computer

Account server failed to start: I believe this explains itself, if the account server which apparently is not my computer fails to start then well figure it out

What bothers me most, is several people who I play with in game ( when I was able to log in at will) are now ADMIRALS because they have no issues logging into this game. I am an avid Star Trek fan and a chance to play this game is wonderfull but I am nearing the end of my rope.

Everytime I see a problem like this posted the first thing said is:

Disable AV and Firewall: Well guess what I did this, and wow would you not know what did I pick up ( because I visisted a movie watching site) a virus, because I was not paying attention when I walked away and did not restart the disabled virus protection

Download this program so we can diagnose your problem: Everytime I vist a site that is suposed to have a program to download I end up forwarded to a site that wants me to pay for said program, so ask me why I am hesitant to download anything suggested on a public forum.

Contact your ISP so they can tell you whats wrong: they are a fountain fo useless infromation and basically tell me if I want better service call this number, if it is not an emergancy please hold til hell freezes over, or better yet, Mr McCluskey why are you being so Hostile with me I did not cause your problems I am in India and just working a call center.

and my all time favorite respons is the only people who are having problems are the ones who do not listen to what they are told to do when their is an imaginary problem that they are not having to deal with.

PLease figure out what is going wrong , why I and hundreds of other are having issues logging in, post a real answer, not one that keeps me going in circles, come on there has to be a fix out here. Since the one fix screwed my wireless modem up I am connected via Cable modem now.

thank you, I am done ranting, and since it was a rant I understand if you dont try to helkp fix the problems

some valuable info you could give us is:
    pc specs
    model of modem
    name of isp
post a tracert to the cryptic servers
what download/upload/ping do you get when using broadband speed tests or even what jitter

Your problems point almost conclusively towards a problem with the connection on your system or with your ISP.

Ok before I go further, I need to send out a big apology to everyone who says call your ISP and ask for help. THis time when I called I think the person was actually in the States, as I could clearly understand them, they reset my modem, first with out the router , then I reset all the router ,

I know I was a bit rude when I first started this quest to find out whats wrong, and my wife has been more then willing to tell me how wrong I was.

Thank you for your time and assistance in correcting these issues

Tomorrow will be the real test, as I will be logging in during a time frame that for the last two weeks has been the you cannot connect because we hate you time. Providing I do not have issues connecting this will be the last posting on the issue, thank you again for your time;)
