Stop asking me to install new drivers

My nVidia video card drivers are out of date. I know this. I have no plans to upgrade them because

1) The up to date ones are buggy
2) I'm building a new PC soon and this ones going to the trash so I don't care.

However, STO continues to prompt me about my drivers. Is there a way to permanently prevent this? (both from the login screen and from the launcher)

Check the box in the bottom-left and it will stop for one month.

Same here. I've been running 196.21 for a bit now, and I haven't had any problems with that set of drivers. (Not sure if it's just because my cards are getting on the old side, or what. I run 2 9600GTs, just in-case anyone cares lol.)

From what I understand, the most recent (Unless nVidia has fixed it) had a problem with the fan control system, causing the GPU to overheat.

Either way, getting rid of the computer in a month or two so... No real need to upgrade the drivers.

That's because he's referring to a later set of drivers (196.75) that came out after 196.21, which were removed from the website after a month or so of causing problems.
