Where can I get those cool uniforms from the 1980's movies??? I'd pay for the credits needed if we could buy them in C-store.

You're talking about the Wrath of Khan uniforms? I think it was a promotional item that Cryptic released the code on. I'm sure, before long, someone will post it for you. Not sure where to find it at the moment -- do a search of TWOK uniform on the forum and it will come up eventually.

    Enter code.. JIH MUSHA SOH

That code comes with every DVD box set so anyone can use it unlimited amount of times:D.

The Motion Picture uniforms are from the '70s. (December 1979, IIRC.)

I know this might seem ridiculous to most people, but did Cryptic officially release the code for the "monster maroon" uniforms to everyone? I get the feeling that a bunch of people just posted it online. I know most people don't care about such things, but I'd like to think I'm an honest guy, and would only use the code if Cryptic has officially released it to everyone.

Again, I know, this is very "goodie-two-shoes" of me, but I'd just like to know if anyone knows!

    Thanks, everyone!

I don't believe that Cryptic ever officially gave out the Admrl uniform code for free. I suspect they just threw their hands up in frustration when it came out that there was a single code that ANYONE can enter to get access to it.

Someone posted it a few times on the forums and the cat was out of the bag. There were even folks selling the code on ebay till everyone caught on.

Personally, I wouldn't feel bad if you decide to use the code. I'm big on honesty myself (never break an NDA!!!) but in the case of the Admrl uniform I went ahead and used the code. You're not stealing it from anyone, not hacking anyone accounts to get it, you're just giving yourself another costume option.

Kinda a grey area. Anyway, thats my 2 pyreal.

Really? Whatever floats your boat I guess.

If they didn't want this to occur it would have been easy to prevent it. After all, the codes for some of the other things they offered were unique, and could only be used once. The only reason I can think of to do one master code for this instead of what they did for the other stuff is that they really don't care if it is passed around. And really, why would they? It’s just one single uniform option. Big deal.

It's a shame. I bought the DVD to get this. It's not just been spammed across the internet like some kind of spam message. I think Cryptic should stop this code from being used now.

Which would just hack off the ones who got the DVDs even more.

Or Cryptic could make alternate gear purchasable in-game and/or on the store.
