In most cases, downloaded files are kept in a temp file until executed and installed. Unless directed otherwise by the Admin (a capability possible in Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7), all files are then copied to the main computer's appropriate program file.
If your other computers are networked to the main, and have mirrored copies of the same program, it can be sent to the others at the same time. This function can be setup by the system admin.
The temp file is NOT erased after the program is executed, it continues to exist on the HDD, but it can be over written by another function and lost.
It is possible to find and access this temp file before this occurs; but unless you are highly experienced as a Windows Admin, I don't recommend it.
Once you have an update installed on the main computer, you could always just copy/paste the entire file to any other networked computer manually. It's not that hard to do. Windows 7 actually has made this easier to do.
    I hope this helps.

All you need to copy around is the .hogg files in the game folder (the ones under piggs/ generally, and sometimes the ones under prepatch/ if there is a pre-patch in effect).

Coderanger, Thanks mate. Exactly what i needed to know.

Paratus6, thank's for your reply. The pc's arent networked so cant really do it that way. Was just kinda hoping it would be similar/same as the WOW patching setup.
