So many great PvE maps, so few PvP maps, what gives?

So I was leveling a Fed today (I know; I feel dirty) and noticing that if you go do those Star Cluster missions you can get what look like randomly generated ground maps (the caves remind me of Nethack maps -- rooms with connectors).

Why don't we get random ground maps for deathmatch PvP?

I mean, there are all these maps that seem like they'd be pretty awesome for deathmatches (the caves need more connectors but the terrain is good) but instead, we get:

* Deserted Facility, which is a small, confusing, multilayer indoor map
* Ghost Ship, which is a small, confusing, multilayer indoor map
* Assimilated Cruiser, which doesn't work correctly and has "black areas" on both sides of the bridge.

Why not some of those lovely outdoor maps?

Or those random caves?

I mean, deathmatch is deathmatch. Throw us into some random maps to spice things up!

    Not a bad idea; all they would really have to do is add a few more corridors, and put in some extra respawn points (exploration maps only ever seem to have 1). Shouldn't be all that hard.

    Gotta say, the idea of having a PvP match in one of those Memory Alpha style facilities has a certain appeal :)

    Agree! We also need larger space pvp maps.

    We ran through the new ground pvp map on Tribble today and it is pretty cool.

    Agree. I suggested this about a month ago on this forum....and was trolled for a few pages.

    Would be nice to have more than 3 maps and actually more than 1 map that is worth playing atm that being ghost ship.

    it would be cool to have a 0 G map, for ground, "imagine floating around, trying to navigate with the horrible controls."
