Clever ground PvP trick.

Today I encountered a first and a rather clever trick from Federation side. On the ground PvP map there was a character named Security Escort. I admire the ingenuity here, since you can't visually tell by name whether it is a player or an NPC shooting you. With escorts spawned you couldn't tell which one was the spawn and which one was a player.I made a mistake of ignoring the Security Escort for a while without even realizing this was a player. Props on this novel idea.

You can set your options in a way that only players have names above them.

    Haha, that's a good idea.

Although it wouldn't impact me.... I have my settings configured so that I basically never target anyone. I have no idea what anyone's name is and attack on sight alone. I also make a point of killing security escorts since they're relatively easy to kill and they ARE actually fairly dangerous -- they seem to always have expose weapons and they will, in fact, expose you if you let them keep shooting you.

Reminds me of a Klingon I saw in a BoP which was named Taj'Doh Fighter, or whatever it is the carrier fighters are called.

Playing low level (LC5) I saw a guy doing the same thing. Weirdest thing ever..I actually read his bio so I could make sure he was really player..and not somebody exploiting a bug. LOL

I saw a Klink flying a ship named "Invalid Target"

Didn't fall for it, but very clever.
