According to the page you are directed to upon trying to visit the forums from the main page, the forums are down for maintenance and have been for over 24 hours:

http://forums.startrekonline.com/

The forums are clearly working though, I had to enter the URL of one of my posts to access the forums, you might want to look into this.

More likely your browser cache is bad, do a force refresh.

    Making use of this thread.

This has happened twice on both occasions you took down your website, It's rare that browser caches need to be cleared for this reason.

You may want to put a line somewhere on the main page as it seems that the web browsers cache needs to be cleared each time the placeholder page is seen, you probably have a lot of people unable to access your forums because they think there down when in-fact they just need to clear there cache.

    FYI I'm using Firefox

Also the image on the placeholder page does not seem to work.

Bad cache headers on the placeholder page maybe? Can't check it right now, obviously. Since it doesn't affect everybody, my bet is on the second most common error with caching headers: using only the HTTP 1.1 headers, and not including the HTTP 1.0 ones.

Yup, bad cache control on the placeholder page; you have to manually flush your cache to get rid of it. Somebody want to fix that?

Will this play STO? It doesn't have to be the greatest. I just want to know if it will play at all?
Processor 2.1GHz AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core
    Memory 3GB, DDR2 800 MHz
    Hard drive 250GB 5,400rpm
    Chipset AMD RS780
    Graphics ATI Mobility Radeon 3100
    Operating System Windows Vista Premium

It is a not a gaming computer at all but I am curious.

How about on top of this fix, you fix the "quick reply." You know this text box is here so you dont have to click something to reply to the thread, right? Needing us to click a button to make it turn on kinda defeats the point.
