So how much content are we talking with the patch?

Im curious as the post states, how much pve are we talking? Don't get me wrong i love pvp, and busting the bat'leth in peoples faces is fun, when i get the chance to do it. I started out as klingon and at commander i checked out fed, and the missions are far more fun then sitting in the expanse, and waiting for queues to pop.
Don't get me wrong i like klingons better, but there was something about experience everything that i could at max level while leveling to get to that point that turned me off.

1 Star Cluster per tier with appropraite missions and badges
2 New fleet actions (1 crystalline entity (space), 1 romulan temple (ground)
Current ground fleet action (ice mining) has had a makeover

So does that mean we just get exploration sectors?

PvE-wise I think that's the biggest thing. It's canned content but it's an improvement over these terrible space zones we have now.

I believe we'll also be getting more "iPvP" maps (like Borg Hunt) including one that's a ground map but I hear it's not open on test yet. It was in their engineering notes, though, so hopefully that's going to be in the 45-day patch. It's basically PvE content but with Feds present, so you can engage in PvP while you're there.

They're currently shut on test so I have no idea what they actually are, but they look like them yeah. Interestingly enough the B'tran(?) sector (borg system exploration offshoot) was STILL closed when I looked on test

if you didn' already know, it's been verified the 45-day patch (or 51, or whenever they decide it's 'done')
IS the same as 'Update 1'
and that's what they're currently testing on Tribble. the link below lists exactly what this entails, at this point in time
    http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...d.php?t=134008

some other stuff they're putting in is in the Engineering report under 'In Testing'. here's a link to the Engineeering report http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...d.php?t=132130

and, yes, a lot of stuff is still 'shut off' at the moment. they tell you in the 1st link what is turned off (scroll down).

while on tribble, i noticed instead of being able to Q for individual maps, Ghost Ship, Cracked Planetoid, etc, they were all set to 'random' except for one-Ground map titled 'Shanty Town'. but at the time, no one was Q'd for any pvp maps on either side, KDF or Fed (i'll let you find the irony in the previous 2 sentences for yourself)
