First, where do I get the skirts?

Second, I see an option to wear another uniform. How do I make another unform as another option?

The "skirt" option should be in the lower body section when making a character.

As for creating a uniform, I think the only way you can do that is if you had a Fleet...but, from what I know, you can't create a Fleet unless you have five or more people in your Friends list.

The skirts only come with the TOS Uniforms only found with the DDE.

So I pay extra and get the collectors adition and that doesn't give me this. How is that fair to have a half dozen editions and only some things will get added to some editions. That comes dangerously close to a scam.

The "Extra's" that come with the pre-orders are unique to where you order them from. It's a way for the retailers to encourage you to buy from ebgames rather then amazon, or best buy rather then Walmart. It's unfortunately a common practice with game pre-orders that i think is driven by the retailers themselves.

That said i'm right there in the boat with you and wanting one, although i had ordered from a different source for my CE. I can tell you that more costume parts are coming shortly and I'm just hoping that they add in some type of skirt option for the rest of us.

Source? I'm not saying you are wrong, I just don't see them on the test server. They do have several new hairstyles, but no outfits.

I also would ADORE more costume options. Skirts are a must. It'd also be nice to have the Armiral uniforms that you see NPCs wearing.

Dev post somewhere in the depths of the engineering report thread. I've seen it as well.

Not one to disbelieve, but if you could provide a source on that (post link, preferably), that'd be awesome.

I find being cautious about this sort of thing is the best way to avoid getting disappointed. :S

"Off Duty Outfits - in testing"
Could easily see this having skirt options, just not sure if they'll restrict their use or something.

and i also believe that i saw another dev post elsewhere but I'd have to dig a bit further for that one.

Edit found the second spot it was mentioned:

Are these "Off Duty" alternates that you can name and save, or are they the answer to the question, "If my armor is going to cover my uniform, then why did I spend 2 hours customizing it?"

Kudos and a big "YAY!" for the Devs! :) Today I happily paid for my new pips and they stayed on my chest!

...Just to be sure, you're aware you can hide your armor (and your kit) from showing up for both yourself and your officers, right? >_>

If you Right Click on the armor (or kit) while you have it equipped on yourself, or an officer, an option comes up that allows you to Hide the item from your costume. Doing so defaults you back to whatever Uniform you currently have set (plus or minus a kit, depending on if you set that Hidden as well).

Only things I can pimp are STOWiki and BigBadB's Big Bad Blog. Still not perfect resources, but both are full to the brim with awesome bits of information.

There's also a lot of great information in the stickied guides here.

:) when in the sector map you should see a down arrow by your mini-map in the upper right. Hit that button and you should see a visit bridge option.

Also to get off of the bridge when you're done use the turbolifts

Have you noticed how sometimes a button will appear in the lower right saying "Leave Bridge, Ops Report, Beam Out, Etc.." and sometimes not? Anyone even know what I'm trying to say here? Anyone know what actions are "supposed" to pop up and/or why they do or don't?
