Launcher tries to DL game again...

I recently bought a new 1TB HD to us as my gaming HD. Now I imaged my old gaming HD and put it on the new 1TB HD. All was well i thought when i played STO last night. So today i formated my old gaming HD to clear it out and use it as storage. Well when i try to play STO the launcher is still looking at my old gaming HD and tries to dl the entire game again. Even when I launch the actual STO.exe file from the folder in my new gaming HD it is still looking at my old HD and tries to dl 10gigs worth of files. Where oh where can i change the stupid pathway so that it looks where the game files actually are so the launcher does not try to dl the entire game again? pls help

You can't just randomly move the game, you need to re-run the installer into the new path.

Nah, you can just use the small one (http://files.startrekonline.com/installer/star_trek_online_setup.exe) and copy the .hogg files into place :)

If, and only if, you know how to do this safely you can edit the registry replacing the old install location with the new location.

Maybe just easier to do the install but wanted to point that out if you are familiar with editing the registry.

WARNING EDITING REGISTRY CAN HAVE DAMAGING EFFECTS ON YOUR COMPUTER

    however, run regedit

    go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cryptic\Star Trek Online]
    change "InstallLocation"

is all thats needed in this case
