I have noticed that there are options to pick voices on certain NPC in the character modification screen, are there ever going to be voice for toons? Secondly, I enjoy here Lenard Nimoy in the game I was wondering if we could get a few other people, like Micheal Dorn for the Klingon side, Jonathon Frakes for some of the new content, and maybe Patrick Stewart for something to do with the Vulcan home system and maybe some mission from Picard as the Ambassador.

They wouldn't touch this crock with a light-year long barge pole.

If you pay them enough they would, but the problem is can cryptic afford them. Of all of them Lenard Nimoy is about on par with prices as Patrick Stewart for voice acting, and if CBS is really wanting to get the most bang for their buck they can increase budget to this by doing some creative things, like the advertising job they are doing now and all the special things you can get via Del Taco, certain collectors editions of Star TOS Blu-ray, and more.

I think its more Nimoy actually likes doing voice overs for games than many of the other, and thus is more available to the idea. The others Im not sure about. last time I heard Worf voice something was in "I am Weasel!" and I think Patrick is still doing the voice of Stans boss in "American Dad"

I have to say that I agree with the OP... You would think at this point that CBS would understand this is pretty much the Flagship product for the Franchise in the "Prime" universe. I would have expected that getting some of the folks that were part of the universe would be pretty easy in order to have them step up and provide VO.... It certainly seems like Paramount under Viacom understood this...

I would be interested to understand if the relationship with CBS is anywhere near the level that something like that is possible or are they really just the overlords and just care about certain facets of it... It seems like CBS empowering Cryptic/Atari with whatever they would need would be a pretty big win/win situation for pleasing the existing fans and gathering new ones which might reignite some opportunities revolving around the original trek universe.... Unfortunately it seems its most likely full steam ahead on the JJ Abrams vision (which is not bad, but I still prefer the original universe), which I think is rather unfortunate...

Fantastic, one I did not think of him and he one of my favorite characters on the TNG, and VOY series. I always felt they should have done a movie about his people from the beginning to when he started missing with the Enterprise-D

Because the Q you see in the mission is not the same Q as in the show. You have to remember all their names were Q, from what i gather he was actually Q's "Kid" and he reffered to Janeway as "Aunt kathy" I'm not really sure I want to know..

    Im wondering.

The name janeway is goming along and mentiont a few times as a admiral !.
So where are they just fanished if you can count there just in game time 10 or 15 years older .
There not disapear just like that ??

So what happend to them i have no clue .
They are mentiont in the game without background .
And i think they want to do someting to it for a small price if you ask them .
Its not always money i hope and it would atract more players to the game.

I did find it a bit strange to see the enterprice d and here the voice of leonard nimoy .
    A bit funny .

I wonder why we have Amd.(Ret) Spock voice at all ? Did he get sucked into a black hole, and goto a alt. Universe. When did he get back ?

I'd actually like to see the important NPCs in the main storyline be voiced. The crew of the U.S.S. Kirk comes to mind.

There are a lot of voice overs currently not used in the game in the audio files (on your hard disk). There are a lot of sentences by Nimoy as if he was a Boff (?), and a lot of nobodys doing boffs stuff too (a guy with a British accent, a chick with a Russian accent etc etc). I hope they will use these files eventually, this would add a lot to the game.

Yeah, that would be nice. Hearing Miral Paris thank you for rescuing her would add a bit more to that quest.

    :)

I also think some voice options for your Bridge Officers would be both possible and nice to do.

She talked him in to getting a Q wife

Next time he tried to dump the kid off on to her. lol
