I hope that the developers get to read this. I have long been a diehard STO fan and looked forward to the game immensely, and I'm 39! I'm also a developer so I know the late nights that must have gone into this awesome game. I therefore hope that you will read these suggestions as merely guidelines for really just improving what is already a winning game!

Much more PvE for the game...
There is simply too little Klingon RPG material and the game quickly gets either repeditive or you're completely out-of-luck, outgunned and outnumbered. The fleet system is a novelty for those that happen to belong to one. But when there is sharing of deadly weapons, and when you are staring down 10 ships 6 or seven grades higher than you, the game becomes, how can I put it - sacrificial.

Queue System needs more diversity...
One is limited to only a handful of the same style of games, facing the same combatants, in the same maps. On some of the Maps like the Klingon planet blockaded by the Federation, the Klingons don't stand a chance. Respawning 10+ is hardly fair.

What about discovery missions...
Allow players to go on discovery, diplomatic, first contact missions. Perhaps allow players to journey to remote starbase, science stations, cities, ruins, etc and play more RPG missions where you are not always realing from the Adrenaline rush of banging on your keyboard.

Government Agencies.
Allow the Heroes of Star Trek like Kirk, Spock and Quark, to really exist. Allow the players the opportunities to map out their careers e.g Why not have governments with Presidents, Chancellors, Generals and Admirals, and have them plan and direct a more universal doctrine. Say for example you have 3 fleets - the President could order them to capture the regions. These regions would then be held by that side and managed, and they would have to be won back. The systems would have to be developed and maintained, protected from pirates and/or raiding parties, etc. Instead of training through the bridge, why not have players study at Academies, Research centers, etc. In some instances, when a planet is taken by the enemy, it would have to be won back before the course would continue.

Regional Installations and Defenses
The sector block has a number of planets in each. Why not have players patrol these regions? Allow them to purchase and produce something? (Defense, Manufacture, etc?) Limited in number so that players don't go crazy!

There is lack of voice dialog for NPC...
There is only the limited sound effects of electronic signals and music. What about some more speech - in character...

I hope that you will consider some of these observations or your next overhaul. Thanks for all the hard work and keep on trekking!
