I like the game alot hehe so far, but it seems when i play sto, its casuing my screen to blink back and forth. Meaning it goes blank then goes back, so that i can see what i am doing. Sometimes it just seems to happen once and awhile other times it happens its like non stop. Checked my monitor cords and everything. It seems to be related to StO. Anyone know of the cause? Any help would be apreciated.
It helps somewhat but it does not take care of the problem from happing again. Do you know what this blink blink thing is about? Meaning whats causing it?

For me it seems to be related to lighting effects in the game, but disabling dynamic light, turning off shadows, changing lighting quality, and post processing doesn't fix it 100% for me.
One item that did help me was to reset all the video card setting back to default and then customize it again. This idea was posted by a dev a week ago.
On your end try that, reset everything to default in the video section, if that doesn't help try turning off dynamic lighting and post processing, then try changing the lighting quality.
Sorry I can't be more help, I've been focused more on the network connectivity side of the game.
No you have been a great help, i just wasnt sure if it was my vid card/pc, but from the sounds of it. It sounds like a game issue, also the way it happens seems to point that way. On the other question i reset everthing to Default settings, and used the control alt delete trick. Ill have to try that lighting thing. Thank you for your help
