I know I am not alone in this thought but are the Klingons ever going to get a voice at Cryptic? I can't recall the last time a Dev/mod/gm whatever commented on the concerns expressed here. You do not have to look far to see replies in about every other section.
I just can't believe this raid ********. Its such a kick in the nuts. Its like the devs were sitting around drinking some beers and then they decided "Hey, we've got nothing better to do. Why not add some more content to the Federation side?" Would it have killed them to create ONE PvP map? To let us into ONE more sector block? To fix that ONE broken ground level where you could use away team members? Apparently so. Apparently the whole damn Federation side is going to up in quit if they don't get some lame TRIBBLE story about the Borg.

It sounds like you are unaware that the Klingons can do the new raid too.
No, I am perfectly aware that we can do the raid mission. Thats coincidental. Not a sign of a genuine effort to listen to the Klingon portion of the STO community. If I wanted to play Federation content, I would have made a Federation character.
one of the things Klingoin players have been screaming for the most is PVE content, they just got handed the same end game content as the feddies and you're complaining?
you might not LIKE PVE, but that's irrelevent, cryptic DID give the Klingons something, and IMHO it's something substantial

This raid is not "Federation" content, it is anyone who ISNT a Borg content. Perhaps you havent watched the shows, but the Borg are out to assimilate EVERYONE, not just the Federation. The Borg are just as much Klingon enemies as they are Fed enemies, and therefore they are just as much Klingon content as they are Fed content.
So by your logic since some players have been calling for a cloak nerf, I must naturally support that too, right? Because some people want something, I must automatically approve of it as well?
I do not want the same content as the Federation. I want Klingon content.
It is insubstantial. If the Klingon faction never would have existed, Federation End Game content would have been developed anyway.
It is not Klingon content. It is Federation content that has been slightly retooled to allow Klingon players to play along. We're not talking about television canon, we're talking about the deployment of content and the approach of the Developers.
there use to be a few Devs that listened to our pleas, i remember them from Open Beta.

neither of which we have seen in a looooong time and we can only assume they have left the building.
now we get this new guy, Phoxe or w/e, who's more intent on shutting down threads posted by people who are leaving the game than addressing the concerns those players are bringing up. and after reading a lot of 'i quit' posts, i can tell you, most players are leaving b/c of the same reasons. these are also the same reasons that STO is getting negative reviews by gaming mags and sites.
STO works like the Congress would if it only had the House of Representatives.
each faction (or state) gets representation based on population.
that's why we have no real representation. we're simply not where the money is at, so far as subscriptions go.
a majority of the players i talk to who are lower-level in the KDF are merely Fed alts, which is sad. not a lot of new players are coming into the game who are rolling KDF as mains, and many of the players that have been around a while w/KDF mains simply don't play as often as they use to. we're primarily an alt faction at present.
the KDF has attracted mostly PvP'ers, unfortunately there are few people interested in PvP in the trek universe. the reality of it is, until KDF gets Episodic PvE content, most people who play STO will not consider rolling KDF as a main. many won't even consider rolling a KDF alt until this happens.
if the latest installment on 'Ask Cryptic' is any indication, episodic PvE content is a ways off for the KLingon faction, which is unfortunate seeing as how neither our numbers nor our representation will grow noticeably until this comes to pass.

That has nothing to do with my logic at all. I'm not saying you should like this because other people do. I'm not even saying you should like this at ALL if you dont want to. But whether you LIKE it or not has nothing to do with the fact that fighting against the Borg IS Klingon content because the Borg ARE a Klingon enemy.

the klingons were deemed inferior and unworthy of assimilation. weak minds
Perhaps when Cryptic realizes one repeatable pve and nothing but pvp ques to level get's pretty mundane and far to repetitive then hopefully something happens.
Problem is there won't be many klinks left at that point.

Cryptic already realizes it, hence their statements that more Klingon PvE is on the way. The only question is whether they will be able to deliver fast enough to salvage the faction.

Actually, my own thoughts are that the Klingon faction ended up more than it was intended for. Cryptic determined that the vast majority of the playerbase would be Federation primarily. Klingons therefore were not so much a full fledged faction as they were an alternative avenue of play for the Federation playerbase (monster play).
It started to become a real monkey on Cryptic's back when an actual playerbase developed for the Klingon faction, a playerbase that had little inclination to play Fed. What had been intended as a place to toss your alt around was fast becoming a focal point for a new ... faction. This was not planned for by Cryptic, and something had to be done quickly to address it.
For starters, Cryptic began a marketing campaign of promises for what was becoming apparent: Klingons had no content. Part of it was quickly deflected with the brilliant idea of stating that Klingons were PvP only. This sort of backfired since it attracted the attention of many a hardcore PvPer.
The reality was there were no big plans for PvP in STO (why would they still claim that PvP is consensual only in STO? That must mean Cryptic don't see Klingons as a separate faction but more as an alt for Feds), and Cryptic wasn't going to be swayed to do otherwise just because 10% of the playerbase wanted it. So, after the time arrived for Cryptic to do good on its promises for the Klingon faction, nothing happened. At least, nothing of substance. They never intended to do otherwise. It was all a delay tactic fabricated with prevarication and minor tweaks of little actual impact (UI changes to unused away teams and the like).
So, if you're looking for Klingon representation, look elsewhere than STO. This is StarFleet Online, nothing more.
No, just hear me out. I am very aware of the video you linked. It's just that what they envisioned back then, and what this game has been designed to be are two very different things. Rather than a a collective galaxy of events and missions, STO has arisen as a collection of systems superficially imposed onto a galaxy-like framework. There is no galaxy to move around that has any impact on the game play. In fact, as a Klingon one needn't move around much if at all, since PvP queues are completely accessible from the UI alone.
Obviously, something about this game design took a serious turn south from the time of that video till closed beta. When did Zinc actually come on board to head this project?
If STO were the Titanic (and it may yet be) we Klingons are the folks down below (steerage passengers) that don't get seats on the lifeboat.
Did you see anyone on the Titanic representing the steerage passengers?
Want Cryptic to listen? Form a Klingon Union and go on strike. Don't play your Klingon toons for a couple of days, submit tickets on how Klingons are getting hosed and how cryptic needs to fix them, raise hell on ALL the forums.

There were less than a handful of replies from Cryptic in the original Klingon/PvP forum when they were combined and that goes back well into beta.
No much discussion, just the COO saying, I will ask the guys to look into it........

False. Klingons were originally intended to be a faction will "full PvE content":
