Ran you nettool and pinged and everything was WELL below anything causing latency on my end...

Therefore this leaves only your server. Increase bandwidth. It is only getting worse and worse. In addtion, it seems to happen whenever you do a corrective patch as well.

    since majority are not having the problem doubt that but why don't you actually post the results of your tests.


    so far have people say it can't be thier system found out
    1. actually was the firewall (and anitvirus reflagging the program to block on updates )
    2. bad router
    3. outdated onboard nic drivers
    4. wireless
    5. thier univeristy firewall network setup
    6. thier ISP.

    Wow, this was unhelpful. Why don't you post the results of the test and give us some context of where your using STO, before jumping to conclusions?

    OP, if you are still around, please post the nettest results. For a good solid conenction, the results need to be within a ecrtain range. Havin too low or too high of values will lead to bad connections ( which it sounds like you have)
