Mission Backgrounds - A slight concern I have

I am loving this game I really am. I've made some awesome friends here but I do have a concern that I hope the developers will address. I am one of your visually impaired players. I'm blind in one eye and as a result there are certain backgrounds that just play havoc on my eyes.

There are some missions where the background is gray to the point where viability is just zero for me. I actually prefer to play on darker backgrounds where I can easily see what I'm doing. I was doing an exploration mission the other day and I landed on a planet where the background was grayed out. If it wasn't for the soldiers I was able to make out I couldn't complete the missions. In fact, my eyes bothered me so bad (dizzy spells) during the game that i just simply had to stop the exploration mission which is a bummer because I wanted those badges terribly.

My question is cryptic planning on doing anything for us visually impaired players to make the game more enjoyable for us?

Just a heads up too friend, some of the maps are programed with atmospheric effects (fogs, rains, sandstorms) and I can't see well either. Like the OP said, options should help you fix this.

Yup! The other day I was on a planet that had the sandstorm, and fell into a crevasse I couldn't get out of! Did not see it at all, just blindly heading for the next building up on the ridge and WTFWaaaaaaaa!. I had to beam up to the ships and beam down again. I loved it!
