Spending more time recovering from crashes then playing the game

I keep crashing at various areas in the game from space combat, to walking through the starbase. It will not verify files at all without crashing. The laucher sometimes, does not even get to sign in part before it crashes. here is the dxdiag for my comp:

    Turn off dynamic lighting . There is a problem with the drivers and dynamic lighting with ATI cards.

    It it turned off so is every related to anti aliasing
