Any time you see a buff with a multiplier, it just means that bonus is that many times more powerful than normal. In this example [CrtD] normally has a bonus of 20% extra crit damage, [CrtD]x3 has 60% extra crit damage.
yeah good luck on that sale... If you find a buyer then you can be sure you've met someone who buys credits from farmers
Erm... According to the RMT spam currently in my PM inbox Credits are $3 for 100k. That would make it $300 IRL money.
People need to realize those with a lot of in game currency don't buy it from RMT. It would just cost too much. I remember a few years back when every relic holder in FFXI was accused of getting it with a credit card, until someone did the math to show that it would cost over $5000 to do in that market. One or 2 people might do this, I actually know one who did for about 50% of it, but not all 2000 relic holders.
It is honestly easier to make currency in every MMO I've played than it is to put your IRL money into it. Taking FFXI as an example again I still have a bit over 4mil sitting on my inactive character in a game where 9 out of 10 people are lucky to have 200k. I did most of this by reselling Dyna currency, reselling ABCs, reselling Sea pops, reselling underpriced haguns I find in Rolanmart, etc....
Well, I guess someone might want to pay lots of energy credits for a torpedo that does 1.5% more damage than the common white version. That is, once the devs fix space crits. A whole 6.3% more on that one weapon if you use APA and have the skills maxed out.
You need to look at it a different way. If this was a rare item, with 2x crit severity, it would sell for what, 300k? 400k, max? Is it really worth paying 10mil+ more for just 20 more crit severity? I'd equip it and consider yourself lucky for finding it. Like someone else said, if someone did buy it for 10mil, which I garauntee someone won't, then they are just a credit buyer.
Also want to point out that equiping your ship with very rare items is a waste of money unless you find them yourself. The stats on the item themselves do not change, only the extra crit chance, crit severity and accuracy. So a common MK X will do the same damage as a very rare MK X. To each their own I guess.
Some people bought an extra Preorder just to have an additional bonus item. (Read: bought it for 50 bucks)
Does anyone really doubt there is someone spending 19Million worthless energy on a "collectors item" torpedo, which is probably a lot more rare then any "comes with a preorder box" item?

Starting it at 19.9 million will lower it by 1 million every couple days until it sells.
I've gotten a few phaser arrays and the likes that were x2, does this mean each array fires 2 beams?
lol good luck selling it for 10 million I wouldnt give you 5 credits for it.
It means the standard crit number is multiplied X 3 ... so it's + 20 crit x 3 = 60
yeah good luck on that sale... If you find a buyer then you can be sure you've met someone who buys credits from farmers
Its on the Exchange ATM for 19.9 million
Serious offers above 10 millions are welcome.

That someone, however, isn't me.
Its the best Torpedo you can get atm, or almost, i prefer Critical Chance and Accuracy.
I don't see why you'd want 19.9 million energy credits... it's not like you can do anything with them.
robbing *******oes lol its not worth a dime more than 3 mill. check out other mrk 10 rare items.

I WILL PAY YOU 30 MILLION FOR IT if you still have it.
where did that drop @? I've NEVER seen a very rare drop
It's all relative, folks. Not everyone is scraping by with barely 500k in the bank.
For even a 1% edge in PvP, practically any price is worth it.
If the value is 50,000 and you're selling it for 19,000,000 then you're one of the people who are contributing to the crappy economy of the game...
