Charged 30 bucks???

anyone else get a surprise charge of 30 bucks fro cryptic. I sent a ticket but I am really angry. I was told a month ago by one the cryptic people my account was all set and good to go. the 1 year sub didn't show on the active sub section of my account so I made a ticket and they said it was good and would show up when the first 30 days was up.

now the 30 days are up and I get charged 30 bucks for no reason. WTF. I am gonna cancel if this doesn't get resolved. they already got the price of the game(59.99) and the 119.99 for the 1 year sub from me. they don't need to take 30 dollars more for any reason.

    "Starfleet Academy" is not the appropriate place for your issue, which is probably why no one has offered you assistance.

    Please post your CC info here, we promise to put the money back......seriously WTF are you posting this on the forums for? The only people here are players and game devs on occation. neither of which can do jack diddly about this issue.

    Multiple bumps in a short period of time aren't going to get you taken seriously. People are going to assume you're either an idiot or a troll. This will have the effect of having you /ignored or /reported, rather than helped in any meaningful way.

    Instead of crying on the boards, I suggest you look up the toll free number for Cryptic's billing support department and call them. You may have to wait on hold, but you'll get the issue resolved far faster than posting here.

    the issue has been taken care of. thank you to all who replied. sorry if it sounded like i was freaking out. they got to my ticket very fast. thank you cryptic

    Hey Captain Post, can you tell me how you took care of it? Cryptic charged me $15 right off the bat and I see another charge pending. I have tried their customer support and got a very generic reply with no refund. I have no other option than to call the bank but am hoping you can share what you did.

    I sent a ticket. I haven't recieved the refund yet but the reply from my ticket said the 29.99 would be applied to my bank account soon. I assume tomorrow or the next day it will show on my bank account. if it doesn't I will send another ticket.

    Ok then they haven't done anything. I've already received a ticket response like that February 22nd stating that they would refund me in 5 to 7 business days. This has been 7 business days. If I was simply not charged again this month I wouldn't have an issue. Tomorrow I'll have to call the bank and get my money back but I'd be watching your bank statements very closely.
