Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a Mature Casual fleet. I generally can only dedicate an hour per weeknight (usually 2) and I play more on weekends.
This is my second MMO, my first was WoW. I know I can hear the groans now. I am a veteran console gamer, and I do pretty well in this game. (It;s pretty easy)
I am 29, I know age is important to many. I am one and if I have to hear one more 13 year old trash talk on COD I'm going to lose it. And most importantly a Trekkie.

My fleet, the Dilithium Sentinels, may be a good fit for you. We're definitely casual, since we're all adults and we have jobs, college, etc. It's a smaller sized fleet, where we can become more tight-knit - We plan to stay that way. When we are in-game, we're all about helping each other out, and generally just having fun and enjoying STO for all it has to offer. STARFLEET DEFENDERS is a mature, casual fleet for adult STO players. We are a fun fleet who is more concerned about playing together and enjoying each others company than getting to the highest level. No matter what we do, we will enjoy doing it together. I believe that each member is unique and has something to add to the overall personality of the fleet.
Whether you will be a casual gamer who only plays twice a week or an avid gamer who never logs off doesn't matter to us. STARFLEET DEFENDERS is looking for members with personality!!
100+ plus members cant be wrong!!
Bottom line is when it comes down to it you get an established fleet that has been around since early beta with a mature membership base from all around the world so no matter what time you log in to play there is usually someone online. We have our own website, forums and vent server.
Be a part of a fleet that's going to make STO history, not be STO history in a few months!!

I myself am a casual gamer, although I do have a bit of time during work to check forums and postings. I myself am also a Trekkie, and to be honest, I was fortunate enough to run across the Lotus Fleet posting here in the Forums.
Lotus Fleet is a group of very dedicated Trekkies. Not only are we organized under a quasi-Starfleet rank structure, we also have a very active forums system that allows for people who can't spend a lot of time in game to still be part of a community of Star Trek fans.
Lotus Fleet has an Academy that all members go through which is, essentially, modeled off of a university, but consists of Star Trek related knowledge, complete with multiple choice examinations. This is a huge effort in and of itself that the fleet command group has put together in order to provide a level of authenticity to being a part of this fleet.
There is really no time pressure in the game, nor requirements to be excessively active in game or on the forums, but if you so desire you could be.
I am, not only a casual gamer, but also live outside of the time zones of many fleets, but Lotus Fleet has a very robust and varied structure of individuals from all over the world, and it's virtually impossible to log onto the forums or the game and not have someone there.

Sorry but we only accept mature players. We are all long time gamers who really don't want to deal with screaming kids and chat spammers. Only rules we have is that you treat other players with respect, help other members when you have time, and most importantly have fun playing the game the way you want to.

The Sentinels are a multi-gaming community with an average age of 30+ and no drama!
We have an active membership in several different MMO's and are building our Starfleet Division here in STO. At this point we have about 50 to 60 active members in our fleet and are steadily growing. The overall guild has over 500 active members and we also maintain our own guild Ventrilo server. We look for quality over quantity, and have a very thorough application process. Its our goal to make sure you are as happy with us as we will be with you.
Our retention rate is very high as we promote more of a gaming community then a single game guild.

Our members are mature and practical in their conduct. We were formed by casual players whom like to have all the benefits of a fleet without any of the hassles of a rigid command structure. While we may be casual we are very dedicated. Above all else our fleet is about getting together and having fun with our members. The majority of our members are Canadian and American, but don't let that hold you back, we are open to everyone. We have a dedicated Ventrilo server for Fleet communication.
We currently have over 85 helpful, active members and are growing every day.
