Hi,
I sent my 5-day key to a friend and told him to follow the instructions that were given to me in the e-mail (Go to the activate page, then download). When he's installing, he gets the window to enter his key, and the website says that the key is invalid because it was already claimed, and won't finish installing. Is there anyway to temporarily unlock the key so that he can finish the install and start playing or anything like that? Can I get a new key for him or something?

If it is activated on his account, get him to download the launcher from http://files.startrekonline.com/installer/star_trek_online_setup.exe and download the 10gb. It's much easier than installing from cd.
Anyway i think its kinda silly that they dont have 1-2 day trials for STO. I just wanted to know if the game would run well on my rig anyway.
Do you guys have the Tech Support number? We haven't been able to find it.
Did you follow my advice? Because tech support will not help you. It's a billing matter, and they are VERY busy.
