What do I need to do in order to get a GM to look at my ticket?

The title says it. Seriously, what do I need to do to get someone from Cryptic to review my trouble ticket. As of posting, I am still on hold with their customer service line - after 58 minutes. I even hear from people I play the game with that they still have tickets open from pre-launch. I may have been fed up with World of Warcraft, but at least I never had to wait this long to hear from them. Is this what I can expect as a CUSTOMER from CUSTOMER SERVICE?

What's your ticket regarding? Depending on the issue, someone from the forum may be able to answer/help with your issue.

Cancel your subscription and take your money elsewhere.... EVE Online perhaps....

GM support in this game is atrocious.

    Likely options:

    A) GM will not answer for weeks
    B) GM will finally answer with a copy/paste brush off
    C) GM will put your ticket as a bug and move on since they cant / wont return lost equipment

This came up in Champions. A few GM's told players that characters weren't backed up and couldn't be restored and the Devs quickly corrected them.

I can't speak for how to get a GM to notice your ticket, but I can say that in Champions, at least, they can restore lost characters if they can track down when it happened.

After another twenty minutes of holding, I got in touch with one of their customer service representatives. The guy I spoke with told me that restoration is possible, but that he couldn't do it - a GM has to. They were supposed to escalate my ticket in the GM priority queue...which means that I should have an answer in precisely...

Just throwing in here; got a reply to my GM ticket in roughly 72-96 hours. The reply was little more than a form letter telling me my problem was more of a "bug" and there wasn't jack a GM could do about it. (My starship's registry number threw up. PM me for details, if you're curious.) So in short, while I did eventually get a GM response, it was more of an anti-response and nothing will happen for a good, long, cozy time.

*wanders off to go have a SWG Customer Service flashback*
