Obvious problem being 5, 6 and then 7-9 and finally 10-15 but I have no idea what that means.

    Run as an admin and post the full results.

    Your tracert shows you are losing conenction somewhere. A nettest will identify the ports/problem areas.

    Tracert and pathping use ICMP. They will give you an idea of your route and a snapsnot of ICMP latency.

    STO uses TCP which is different than ICMP. If you want to get an idea of TCP you can use a tool like ping plotter that has optional TCP "ping" with winpcap installed.

    BIG DISCLAIMER
    : Use tools like this wisely, you do not want to cause a resource issue nor get yourself blocked by an admin that doesn't appreciate non game traffic. You have been warned. If you don't know what winpcap is and what I'm talking about, I recommend you stick with tracert, ping, and pingpath.

    In your case you want to use the correct STO IP address and TCP port not WoWs.
