If you are within 30 days of purchase, bunk to that. Call Cryptic customer support to be sure.
I heard of people refunding their game accounts with the customer support, but I think that's just for Lifetime Subs... 30 days of "buyer's remorse". For regular subscriptions, I don't think that's the case.
Perhaps i mis-entered the retail code?
Either way, if its not showing up there, i shouldn't have to cancel then and will not be charged i hope.

If that shot is accurate, you never up a subscription, so there's nothing to charge. Judging from what you said, you have just entered the pre-order code you got from D2D.
You should have a different retail code at D2D, goto your account page there for it. That said, if you never entered your retail code or your subscription information, you've already effectively canceled [rather, you just never started, outside of the headstart].
