Im very curious as to what types of Tribbles offer the best in combat Buff and of course, best looking to you.

If you could chose only 3 Tribbles out of the whole game, Which ones would you chose and what are your reasons?

You can only have one tribble buff on you at a time. There's three tribble buffs, but you can have tribbles that combine the damage/regen or damage/resist; then you'd have one for out of combat healing. So, really, you would only ever need to choose three.

Unless you're super lucky and you get a Rivera, then you would only need two.

Tribbles do not offer any buffs in combat. They only activate afterwards.

Do we have to click them while they are on our belts or do they automatically do their thing?

Must click. It's a 1hr buff, so it should hopefully last from mission start to end (though it may not last through an entire Breaking the Planet match!).

Well I and my away team pet our tribbles before battle to get the buffs. Some tribbles have 2 buffs (and some have a double strength single buff) ; Rivera the rare tribble gives 3 buffs. The buffs carry over into combat and space as well.

For extra healing pet again after battles...Sometimes the tribble cooing can be a bit much on away missions LOL

I do the only thing a sensible person would do with tribbles, eject them into the ice cold of deep space.

Unless you do what I did and without thinking put a Tribble in one of a Klingon Fed officer's device slots.

I have never, ever, heard a Tribble shriek like that before.

Watching the animation for that is pretty funny. The klingon very carefully trying to pet it while resisting the urrge to kill it while the tribble shrieks like crazy. The sound does get old after awhile though.

My Klingon bridge officer gets no buff only the healing tribbles work on him.

The shrieking is grating but frankly the cooing is getting annoying too.

At least they use them. Trying to give BrOs food items is an exercise in futility. They eat it all before they need it. It's a waste. I wish they would use items when they needed them. They use everything as soon as it's available.

But they don't eat the tribbles. So that's why I give each one a tribble. Now if I could turn off the sound effect it makes I'd be happier.

    I love this game.

Too bad they do not shriek when they detect Klingons nearby, sort of a natural detector!

Well I just use Nielsen, Zinc and Yu simply because those three are the best and of highest tier of tribble breeding.
