I had the exact same issue, turns out I had a DIMM, and it was misinterpreting it as a corrupt file when in reality, it was unable to access the cached version in RAM.

I am having the same issue right now, could you explain further?
I am having an issue where I cant even get past the load screen It keeps crashing approx 1/4 of the way loading. Any help would be great. I just reinstalled the game and re-downloaded the patch but It is still doing it.

Same issue here. I was in game for 10 minutes or less, crashed due to this error. Now whenever I attempt to log in I get to the character select, start loading, and crash.

Crashed due to which error? If it's the corrupted pigg file, force verify will not always (ever?) catch the error and you'll need to delete that offending pigg file so it gets redownloaded by the updater.
If it only gets corrupted once, not to worry. If it keeps happening, something is causing it to corrupt like a hard drive going bad. Also, as an earier poster mentioned, having a memory stick going bad can also sometime present as a corrupted file.
the main reason for "corrupted" pigg files seems to be the update of the game client.
The pigg file get "repacked" with the new files from the patch. Doing the patching, the file itself might start to defragment.
If you have more then 1 hard drive (or more then 1 partition), you can do the following, after the latest patch has been applied.
Move (or copy) the install folder to a different drive / partition.
Use the defragmention tool on the origin drive.
Copy (not move!) the install folder back to the origin drive.
If you are in the un-lucky position of a defective file, you will have no other choice then to delete the file.
