I bought one at Best Buy. It's a card that has a code on it, which you enter on your account page. It should then make your account active for 60 days (there is no 30 day game card, as far as I know).
The standard price should be pretty much the same as paying monthly by credit card. That is, the 60-day time cards cost as much as two 30-day payments.
At least it was for the STO prepaid card I saw in the UK.
It's in fact cheaper to pay by credit card if you buy time in three-month, six-month, one year blocks, etc - because those longer subscriptions get a slight discount.
Okay thanks for the help. I need to know one more thing though. I called the local game stop and they do not have any nor have they ever recieved any. If anyone knows any retailers It would be helpful.
I am still trying to figure out what my payment method should be.
I am Reluctent to use a credit or cash card for reasons I will not Post.
I Found out about the game card payment method and need more information.
Could someone please post a link or otherwise to give me more information about it.
I bought a 60 day card from Amazon. I had a $10.00 discount from buying some items earlier so it cost me 17.99. The card was on sale for 27.99, free shipping and that 10 dollar coupon made it a good deal. Once the card runs out I will just use a credit card and go 3 months at a time.
I have noticed other online retailers selling the cards for less than the face value so shop around.

I want to compare it to credit card payment.
