I bought one at Best Buy. It's a card that has a code on it, which you enter on your account page. It should then make your account active for 60 days (there is no 30 day game card, as far as I know).

The standard price should be pretty much the same as paying monthly by credit card. That is, the 60-day time cards cost as much as two 30-day payments.

At least it was for the STO prepaid card I saw in the UK.

It's in fact cheaper to pay by credit card if you buy time in three-month, six-month, one year blocks, etc - because those longer subscriptions get a slight discount.

Yeah, it's $30 plus tax, whereas if you pay by credit card it's $14.95 (?) per month, no tax, so not much different if you go month-by-month.

I bought a 60 day card from Amazon. I had a $10.00 discount from buying some items earlier so it cost me 17.99. The card was on sale for 27.99, free shipping and that 10 dollar coupon made it a good deal. Once the card runs out I will just use a credit card and go 3 months at a time.

I have noticed other online retailers selling the cards for less than the face value so shop around.
