I haven't had any problems with lag at all until the last week or so. I had graphic lag, but bought a new graphic card and cooling system and that's definitely not the issue now.
On spacedock, if I'm walking in a certian direction, every 3-4 seconds I get put back to where I was 3-4 seconds ago (kind of like a one step forward two steps back kind of deal). Same thing is happening in space. Travelling in a straight line and then my ship jerks back to where it was on my screen a few seconds ago.
Since the /netgraph command no longer works, I'm not sure if it's lag coming from my connection/proxy or lag coming from the server, or whether it's even that kind of lag.
It is getting a bit frustrating trying to play the game though like this. Any help or isnight or netgraph workarounds would be apperciated Thanks!
I havent had any issues worth mentioning since week 1. But, always a but, since patch toady, 26 Feb, my lag is horrible. I ruberband constantly, and while not unplayable, its definitely not enjoyable.
Thats network lag, caused either by excessive load on the shard your character is on, or a problem with your firewall, router, or more likely, traffic shaping from your isp.
i also experienced higher latences and sometimes massive lags. Either it is a problem caused by yesterdays patch or (with a higher possibility) more players are online due to weekend time.
