The Game launcher crashes whenever I try to play. I used to be able to play under the 'Game Client - server...' option, and have run the patcher on my pc before but now it just won't run. After it asks for my password, It drops to the error reporting.
I'm getting really frustrated. I've logged the errors, and have submitted for tech support

I've tried in safe mode, and updating video drivers etc.
I have a pc built specific to game requirements Nvidia 9800 GT graphics card
# Windows® XP SP3
# Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 Dual Core Processor LGA775 2.8GHZ
# RAM: 2 GB
# Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
# Sound: DirectX® 9.0c compatible
# Hard Drive: 500 GB
# DirectX: DirectX® 9.0c...
Now I can't even play the game becuase my version is too old. Help!\
I'm not running any other programs.
I've downloaded test5 test6, neither of them worked, but after running both them original launcher ran and patched.
I tried restarting my pc this morning, and the same thing. The original 'Star Trek Online.exe' didn't work, but I ran 'StarTrekOnlineTest5' & 'StarTrekOnlineTest6' then went back to the original and it fired right up. I'll continue to do this. I don't know if it will continue to work.

A couple of questions for you.
Are you using an on-board NVidia NIC (network adapter)?
Do you have a NVidia chipset? If so, any chance the NVidia application firewall was installed with those drivers (default)?

I'm using a D-Link DFE-530TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (Rev.C)
My chipset is a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L mother board with an Intel Core 2 Duo Core Processor
Does this help?
That trick of running all three patchers didn't work today.

This product has been discontinued as of July 01, 2004
Can you switch over to the on-board Realtek 8111C on that Gigabyte?
Also here is the latest driver for that Realtek - 5.746 2010/2/22
