skills need to be fully detailed about what abilities they effect other wize we are wasteing points just geussing what we want. and i think you should add a before and after to the tooltip on the abilities so people know if its worth leveling the skills that effect them
ship skills need to have a greater effect on the abillities thay are linked to ive just ranked my deflector dish skill to rank 1-9 and all it seemed to do to the energy syphon skill was add 3 sec to the effect life thats from 10 points to 52 points to deflecter dish what a waste why say it gos up 52 points if the effect is minimal? thats with out my consoles adding points to it needs sorting.
weapons need to show wheather or not they will drain power from weapon settings and by how much
the science, tactical, engineering team powers should not have the same cool down time as they are 3 separate abillities from 3 separate bridge officers
on away missions the weapon drops should match the weapons the enemy are useing it just seems odd thay if they are useing tetryon rifles but drop disruptors
bridge officers path finding needs upgradeing and they need to determin if the obstical can be jumped over or not
away missions should have 6 members so if you have 3 players they all get to use one bridge officer
auction house needs filters for cost and MK of the items we look for
the start of the crafting part there needs to be a way to find out how much longer you have to trade before you can move on and there needs to be a indication that you can move on
more char and ship custom parts to choose from and more color settings
dialoge on the missions as some times people dont read them clearly but failing that a better discription of the missions would help to like what sector they are in

some places need optimizing cos even on a high spec comp they can slow me down

I am going to try to be fair, knowing that this game is still "new". Here is my 2 cents on what I believe needs to be addressed.
1) NPC and PPC interaction between active and non active structures.
a) Characters hands moving inside the Consoles or not coming close to actually sitting in a chair
b) Non interactive chairs, would be nice to just click and sit, using emote and adjusting to fit is silly.
c) NPC Ships "stuck" inside of objects? Come on this should be addressed.
d) NPC stuck in a chair, wall, table, ect.
e) PPC re-spawning inside a wall.
2) There should never be a planet or ship encounter with out a antagonist, ie: a landing party with nothing to do but run from room to room scanning or operating a computer lacks imagination. Planet side needs aggressors whether it be plant, animal or alien, as well as ships, running around just scanning is B O R I N G.
3) Big ships....lots of room....no storage??? Understandably a person can only hold so much, but a ship has storage, why is it we don't use it?
4) Rare should be rare, very rare should be very rare, please don't do a Blizzard and start giving everybody things they should strive for. And FFS, don't make them pay real money either, what, are you guys broke?
5) This undoubtedly has been mentioned hundreds of times, a better description of what does what and showing how it effects character or ship would be nice, neh, it is needed.
6) I am not sure what you have in store for a death penalty, but I think Ship repair and medical expense would be nice, for instance, your ship got blown apart in a battle, your back up and running at re-spawn but your no longer at 100%. As well as your character, your reaction is slower and/or you don't move as quickly, kit is damaged, armor is weaker, ect..
7) First officer should be titled as such and given the ability to use kit and second wep.
8) I would like to be able to optionally remove the Avatar from the information windows, the don't actually speak and I don't need to see what they look like, and it takes up too much screen.
9) I haven't yet reached higher ranks, so I cant say for that, but lower rank encounters should have "group only" encounters, ie: can't even enter encounter without a full group. Would encourage more group game play.
10) Finally, encounters were groups can bring First officer, never in the history of Star Trek has an encounter been dealt with by just the captains, they always have back up.
I am not with out Props, things I do like:
1) Love the space battles, cheers.
2) The control over character looks, prime.
3) Tribbles, ingenuous.
