have you tryed relaunching STO and\or selecting a proxy?
i sometimes get the same error after loosing connection to the servers, sometimes it lets me logon again after a few seconds other i need to restart the client before i can get back in
i getthe excact message you get and cant get any really proactive response from tech support.
yet my brother whom has been using my internet connection gets on in one minute or less.
cryptic need to getther act togethr and fix this bug.
what you have to do is to activate your retail game or online game key to activate the 60 day time card.
Id already activated the retail game version i had but when i did it again i got into game first try.
