I'm not familiar with that integrated gfx chip but if you can run WoW you shoudn't have too much trouble. STO is very scalable. If you're desperate to get it to run smooth you can even try the 'half-resolution' option.

According to: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/265349-33-what-nvidia-6200-intel-express-chipset-family the onboard video is roughly equivalent to the Nvidia Geforce 6200. I would search the forums for what settings others with the 6200 are using to run the game in a playable fashion.

It'll look horrible and run slowly (1GB of RAM is no-where near enough).

I love this "if you can run WoW you can run STO" argument. I've played Warcraft for 4 years and STOs graphics engine is much more demanding on systems - remember, the core of the WoW engine is pushing 6 years old. Warcraft will run on 3-4 year old systems with no issues a decent resolutions - STO won't.

Hell, I've had Warcraft running on my £200 netbook!

It might, but don't expect it to be smooth or look pretty.

    In short, No.
Your CPU and RAM 'just' make the requirements but your GFX card certainly doesnt.

    Sorry :(

I would bump up the ram and try it.

I ran the game in OB all the way up til tuesday of this week with a single core AMD 64 3500+ 2.2 GHz and an NVidia GTS 8800 OC an ran just fine. Yes I had to drop video settings prior to entering Sol Sytem and DS9 but with game play I was able to run at recommended. If your HDD are sata you should be fine.

My little brother has same graphics card as u and it acually runs fair with the settings on low, and he doesnt use the half res. setting so it looks...well.. playable. U do need more Ram and a better card ASAP though
