My Retail Key Doesn't Work! PLEASE HELP!!

For some reason my retail key doesn't work. I have tried typing it in many times and even had someone read the code to me to be ABSOLUTELY SURE that i did not make a typing or reading error. After each try... same error message: "This product key did not match our records." I already entered credit card information but still no luck. To eliminate all confusion as to exactly which code I typed in it was the code on the inside cover of the game manual. I have asked very nicely for help in many other threads but so far i have gotten no response. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN FIX THIS???? I gave up on hold on the phone after 45 minutes and I sent a ticket almost a week ago but I have not received a reply, Email or PM. It did work ONCE... when i first installed the game off the CD. but at that time i didn't know what subscription i wanted so i exited and decided to do it again later. Unfortunately, NOW THE SITE WONT ACCEPT THE CODE!:mad:

    My code was on the back of the manual, maybe your putting the wrong one in :p

    If you have a retail version of the game and are not entering the code from the manual (I have the CE for retail, it's near the very end of the book), then what key are you using? The pre-order key is not valid to play anymore in most places now.

    *Edited to mention that you should not post your actual key here, just where you are entering from.

    I found my retail key on the inside cover of my game manual. The retailer I bought STO from is Amazon.com

    You will need to work with someone at Cryptic. Stay on the phone until someone answers, make sure you tell them about the details above about using it once but didn't complete the sub process.

    Your other option is to find a dev that posts in this forum and have that dev check for you. You can also try to catch a Cryptic_ person in IRC chat (make sure it's a real Cryptic person with a flag before the name)

    I haven't even gotten mine to work once. And my now my ticket has been to deleted with absolutely no resolution to the problem. I don't think Cryptic cares.

    I bought a game from walmart and I type the key. I get all that billing TRIBBLE. I just one to try the game for 60 days.

    It was printed on the bottom of the manual, whether it's different everywhere i don't know. It's in a big white box :p hard to miss really.

    Last night i got through to technical support almost immediately. I was on the phone for like 1/2 an hour-->40 minutes. Now my key works and I now have a subscription!! Thanks for all the help!:D:D
