Help , my retail key not working

I have a gamestop purchased copy and I am getting the 'This product key did not match our records' error.

This is a brand new sealed copy / cdkey . Well obviously now unsealed key.

It was a gift so I cant go back to gamegustapo but its a legit copy.

Any ideas, phone support is insane right now.

    Are you entering the code ON the actual manual into http://www.startrekonline.com/activate ? Also make sure you are entering the characters correctly, as some could be misprinted.

    If you still get that error message, then you will need to telephone billing to get your account activated manually.

    did you actually bought the retail game or did someone at gamestop sold you the pre-oder as the retail version (it happen before)

    My retail key does not work either. Like MaxJustice, i also get the "This product key did not match our records" error. I currently have sto preorder activated and i have credit card info filled out under my account...still no luck.:confused:
