I started typing this in the general forums, but by the end, it turned into its own suggestion.

...What annoys me is when you are in a mission, whether exploration of patrol or whatver, and you have to access a computer or scan something. One of your BOs popups and tells you what you just read off the computer or tricorder.
How the hell would they know? Are they reading over my shoulder?! I am also fairly capable of reading my own information without my BO telling it to me.
The dialogue screens for such instances (computer access and scanning), I think should read more like a captans log or something... OR this idea, which I like better.
Since the BO is the one reporting to you about what you just did, why not when we click the item the appropriate BO does the action... that way it doesnt look so goofy.
I dont mind doing the work, but the ships captain didnt always beam to the surface to do these things... I think Kirk did because he was a gloryhound.

Some idle chatter, or checking their own tricorders. Maybe they crouch and look at objects, etc. Just something to make them more lively.
Also, if we could in some way get Boffs specific assignments, science vs medical, tactical vs security, ops vs engineering, it would be nice for the RP'ers in the house.
I agree with this as well. It feels more like Im partied with borg drones than whats supposed to be actual people. I would love it if they put their guns away and walked when I do... they already crouch when I go into aim mode.
