I've stated before that I won't be paying $15 per month for this game until it matures, but I haven't really said what I would find compelling enough to stay. I would imagine Cryptic needs my $15 now more than ever, so here's what you could do to entice me to stay.
Respec, respec, respec!
Open up levels 46-50 and I'll try to make them last 30 days.
Put something more than a purely decorative bridge in the ship environment. (Making the captain's chair clickable to sit down would sure be nice compared to the current method too)
Better gear for the dailies! I bought 3 pieces of so-called 'very rare' gear from omega fleet and it's just meh. My mark 9 blue kit is just a hair lesser than the one that takes 5 days to get, and tricobalt is a joke.
Search filters on the exchange. I'm sick of having to look at every single BO on the exchange to try to find what I want.
Fix any one of these things and I'll pay to play next month. Go on then, I DARE you to fix one of those.
Post here what would entice you to resub, don't bother trolling or flaming, I won't read those comments anyway.
Game stop and other retailers are giving refunds for STO due to the out cry from the public. They know its was released in pre-beta quality.
I know, right? Gamestop is such a moral store. They're always looking out for the consumer.
Like the time the fat chick at the one near me had "no more pre-order items left" for an xbox game I bought, despite having 3 sitting on the floor behind her. Pro-tip: Gamestop can pay it's employees minimum wage because they offer generous benefits like selling my pre-order **** on ebay. I got it in the end, but I really shouldn't have had to argue over the issue.
Anyway, to stay on topic, here's how Cryptic can get me to resub next month: Charge my credit card. The month after that, depending on the raid additions, and some other stuff they promises, then we can talk.
/rant on. End Game! Give us Raids! Give us klingon content! If you made playing the klingon class more diserable then pvp queues would be more balanced. If you didnt have to play a character to level 6 then you would also have more klingons. I may have started a klingon class when i first bought the game but after I made my first toon and spent all the time designing the avatar and clothing, do you think I would just give up at level 6 and switch over after all that time devoted? no way! just make a tutorial and klingongs selectable from the get go. I am Rear Admiral 5 and BORED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly i like the way the daily mission's potential is going but really you need to make some new high level zones/bosses that are so difficult and maybe even beyond our current capability of beating in the game at the moment(without mass numbers of ppl, or ppl who are so epicly geared (with uber gear that you havent made yet) Also this gear would have really high requirements to receive it. you really need to start scaling up the leveling from this point forward and not by a little, by A LOT! I would like to see it take me about 3-6 weeks of hardcore playing for me to advance a level. like that kind of scale. You are going to have to do something so that you are not mass producing content and sacrifcing quality. I liked some of the new missions like the Q quest but c'mon scanning computers in the Btran cluster is getting a little old and honestly that is a poor excuse for a mission. I dont know anything about computer programming and i feel like i could make that mission in a week (including the time it took me to learn the language) I think i wrote funner games than those missions in my Basic computer programming class in community college i took for a semester.

You'd be shocked, they already have the mission tools (obviously) and that's 90% of the work. We don't care if cryptic recycles some art for the sake of more missions, just replace anything you have to recycle later.
I'm already subbed for next month. And the month after that. And every month after that, until I die or the servers are shut down, whichever comes last.
OP, those are all things I'd love to see, too, and i'm glad you're realistic to only demand one of them before they charge you.

I just wish there were a way to do the exchange filters for them. I'd bet anyone even money that I could make those exchange filters work in 1 day, no matter what language this game is written with. Barring of course, that they did something silly that totally precludes you from searching based on stats and the like.

Really???? Can you link the evidence to support this?
Really? Can I get my $60 back from Atari?

He's lying about the Gamestop thing and was already warned by GMs once about doing that..
That is a shame. If I got an earnest offer of a refund I'd actually pay for another 3 months instead, just because that would be such a nice offer.
