I came here expecting a question I could help someone with, how disappointing.
Yes yes. I understand. You feel dissapointed at the missed opportunity to be helpful in some way, so you instead rag on the OP for saying he likes the game.

Very helpful. Indeed.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh, they feed off of that. Ignoring them makes them go away.

face it, this is defined as trolling.

saying I like the game is considered trolling to you? gee......
I think you may be in the wrong forums in this case.
Youre trolling me for saying I like STO on STO's official forums. I dont understand people like you.
Well, the wind did call us "fanboi troll"s, so we're trolling the forums because we're regulars and expressing our like of the game. It's like a poison to them. Also "fanboi troll" is like calling someone a stupid genious... but not quite like an idiot savant.
Anyways, ignoring them works. Don't feed the fire with oxygen, instead put it out by suffocating it.

Aah, thats how forum ignore works. much better lol
This game is meant to be so hard you have to spend days making spreadsheets and countless hours reading through various websites to be the best!
jk
I like that they are going to add more ship content, more exploration and diplomacy, and more ship customization. I left after OB and just watched from the sidelines, but they seem to be a pretty good company that does want to listen to its players, and they want us to know as well.
Reading the forums a lot can definitely be demoralizing towards your enthusiasm. I should know.
A lot of the better posts here focus on problems with the game and offer constructive criticisms towards it. Which is absolutely great and needed. But not enough of them are about the goodness that is STO.
After spending a lot of time on the forums, sometimes I log in and think, " Boy.....this IS really fun. I had nearly forgotten! ". The forums can do that to you sometimes. Least it does for me occasionally.
STO is a good game that needs a lot of work. But its an EXCELLENT foundation for the future. And I cant wait to see what the future brings.

That's why I went to Ten Forward. I don't post a whole lot, but there's a lot less hate over there.

Really?
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
1) Topic is not off topic as he made it.
2) He seemed to have gotten an emotional response from you, but this is just your negative attitude.
3) It's not an off topic message as it is about STO.
I was playing the game and having fun too. I shrugged off the huge amount of bugs and the dumb game design decisions, but I had a lot of fun. at times I even said I loved the game. Then I got to RA5 and realised i'd spent about £150 on a game with so little content. Buyers remorse kicked in, and i've been depressed ever since.

I fely the same way the first time I ever got a char to end lvl in WoW. So I levelled an alt. And a few more lol. Then they released more content.
Patience is a virtue I hear
Seeing that theres a post from the ignored one, I must add, I always find it funny when people you ignore keep trying to talk to you. Now I have the debate wether or not to go look at it anyways

Look, if you cant do it right then just stop playing!
My contempt for my own hobby knows no bounds!
Seriously though, this game is just plain fun. Especially if you like Star Trek.
How original and amusing!!!

Me too! I am having fun playing this game even when I get frustrated at pvp or the damn Molly fight!
Sorry, I dont have anything else to do right now, you see, I got to the fire caves, it's the ONE content mission I have right now.
My officers will not walk over the first bridge. at all. period.
No amount of commanding, reloading, restarting will help.
does not matter if they are my boffs or just redshirts.
They.Will.Not.Move.
Yea I'm bitter, frustrated, and angry.
I laugh in the face of people who think this is worth 15$ a month, much less the eighty bucks i shelled out for the CE.
It's not.
Wait till something happens to you. You'll see.
That sounds more like another spaceship MMO I will not name lol
Yes, please do not mention that which shall not be named! I almost had a panic attack, phew. :P
Unless you wanna RP
Trolling by calling a troll lol

I ran into this bug last night but i was able to just solo the last few groups of enemies. Im a engineer tho so the turrets help with that.
Never seen them just STOP moving, however, using the waypoints thing seems to help when they get hung up
