Could someone be so kind as to provide us with a list of visitable planets?

One thing I love about Star Trek is the whole exploration aspect. :) I know that we can visit the following planets:

Risa - Risa Sector - Sirius Sector Block
Vulcan - Vulcan Sector - Sirius Sector Block
Andoria - Vulcan Sector - Sirius Sector Block

I'm not sure about the rest; would anyone happen to know of any other visitable planets? :) I'd love to, but I don't really want to take the time to fly around visiting every planet in the galaxy just to see if I can beam down to it. :D

Thanks a lot, guys!

Well, I'll add an obvious one: Alpha Centauri Sector Block, Memory Alpha System, Memory Alpha.

you can visit Romulus and Wolf 359, although they really aren't planets just memorials in space so i don't know if you'd want them in the list

I wouldn't mine seeing a colored circle in the game that indicates this. Sometimes I hit a planet thinking this is the one I want and it is really the next one over.

That would be a great idea. :) Although I can, on some level, understand why they didn't.

Since Earth is so huge, there would be thousands of possible cities and countries to visit. However, if they gave you an option of famous places from the ST series and movies (San Francisco, New Orleans, etc.), that would be perfect.

We would get to visit cities on Earth and the fans' home planet would be playable in the game. :) Win-win. :D

That would be the case on the majority of planets, though. Earth isn't particularly large.

    ?????

Sounds like you want to see everything, but not necessarily "explore." ;)

They must have some plan for Earth. A Star Fleet Academy would be awesome! Maybe some labs or astromestics, training facilities, bars, more c-stores, ect.. Something could be pulled from Star Trek's long history. Holodecks would also be cool... A shooting range to check out weapons maybe.

I'm all for exploration, but you've seen the map. It would take forever to visit every single planet just to see if it was inhabitable. :)

My "exploration" comment mainly referred to the planets over the stars; I apologize. I should have worded my sentence better. :)

That's cool. No apology necessary. I was only messing with you anyways. I actually kind of agree with you. I would really like to see some sort of indication on the map as to which systems have missions, which have repeatable missions, which are just for fun, etc. But until that's implemented, I am going through each sector, systematically visiting each system to see what it has to offer. I know it will probably take a long time, but judging by what people are saying on the forums, I don't want to be in a rush to get to Adm 5.

I'm not really in a rush myself. :) I've created a couple other characters and I'm trying to level them up a little as well; I've currently got 2 Fed characters and 1 Klingon character. :)

I can understand that too. I like exploring but not if the exploring never pans out. If you tell me 95% of the planets can't be explored, I'm not going to be too excited trying to find the 5% that can. On the other hand, if there is even a reasonably random chance that entering orbit of a planet will cause an event to occur, then the explorer in me would definitely be interested.

It's like an episode of Star Trek. How lame would the show have been if in 95% of the episodes they arrived at a planet only to turn around and leave because there was nothing more to be done there? The same thing applies in-game.

From my experience, I have found that there is something to do in every system you have access to. It either has a mission (patrol, fleet action, story mission, etc), or it is there to "explore" (such as Vulcan or Wolf 359) which is what OP is looking for. I have never found a system that has a mission in space (i.e. destroy the Klingon vessels) AND a planet that you can beam to just to explore. So if you enter a system and are given a mission, you know there is nothing to explore. Again, I would like to see some sort of meaning to the symbols used on the sector maps that represent systems to indicate what's inside.

On a side note, these "exploration" systems still should have something to do besides look around. For example, on Andoria, PVP hand-to-hand combat in the arenas they talk about (can't remember the official name). In Wolf 359, the ability to sign your name to the memorial. A dancing contest  on Risa. Anyway, you get the idea.
