Since the bridge officer section of the forum seems to be about powers and optimization, I really didn't know where else to put this question, so bear with me and please answer if you have an insight.
I have a themed ship and crew, and found it weird to see random guys with uniforms off of the uniform standard on the bridge instance I made for my ship, so I designed enough custom officers at Rear Admiral level to fill in all but one gap in the roster, even unassigned: three tactical, three engineering, three science officers. I fly a deep space science vessel; for some reason I love how it looks.

I got rid of the random guys wandering around, so all I see are my custom-made crew. My question is this: is there a way to fill every position and console on the bridge? I still see at least two empty spaces, and one of my tactical officers doesn't show up at all. Does anyone know more about this? I am wondering if, in a deep space science vessel, one is supposed to have only two visible tactical officers, and four engineers and four science officers.
I'm already happy getting rid of the random guys with the uniforms that look out of place compared to my own, but if anyone has more information, I'm eager to read it.

So yeah, the Devs need to bring in Nebula class ships and then they need to open up more sandbox features so we can further customize our bridges and other key areas.
Spock needed to return home for pom-far.... other crew members could have the ability to effect game play.
